Candle F.A.Q.

Are your candles the same color all the way through?
Yes. Unlike some candle makers, we do not cut corners with our candles. We love making the richest color candles you can find, anywhere. Our gold and silver metallic candles are coated, however. There is no additive currently on the market which would allow us to make a truly metallic colored candle all the way through. Our gold is a gold candle with a metallic gold layer, and our silver is a silver candle with a metallic silver layer.
How accurate are the colors in your pictures online?
We think they are very accurate, but remember that your monitor may be set differently than ours. Your brightness, contrast, and color settings may completely change the way the pictures of the candles look on your end. As always, if you are unsure about the color of a candle you want to purchase call us. We will be happy to help!
Are your candles smokeless or dripless?
No. Our candles should not be placed close to the ceiling, or on bookshelves close under the next shelf. Our candles will drip like normal candles too, so use common sense when choosing where to burn your candles. Our pillars will not drip much at all, depending on how you burn them. Our tapers do not drip much, but we can not promise they will be "dripless" - especially after they burn more than half way down. Our votives will definitely drip, every time. Our floaters do not drip when floating in water.
What are the burn times on your candles?
Many candle manufacturers exaggerate their candle burning times, or give you times like "if you burn them for only 2 hours at a time, for 7 days, then they are 7 day candles". Also, candle times are usually given assuming they will be burned inside of a container (this is especially true for votives). Burning a candle in a container greatly increases the burn time. Below are our candle burning times. These are the honest average times it took for our candles to burn from the moment we lit them, until they went out.
12.5 x 3 Pillars: 7 days (160+ hours)
12.5 x 3 Pillars: 5 days (120+ hours)
6 x 3.5 Pillars: 3.5 days (80+ hours)
3 x 3.5 Pillars: 1.8 days (40+ hours)
9.5 x 6 Pillars: 7 days (160+ hours)
Tapers: 12-15 hours
Votives: 12-15 hours in appropriate votive holder
Floaters: 2-3 hours in water
