Lavender was much used in the Ancient world as an aromatic - especially in the baths. This is a very fragrant lavender, great for incense blends, potpourri, or by itself.
Other names: Crocus, Karcom (hebrew), Krokos (greek), Zaffer (arabic).
Uses: Meditation on the highest and purest things, self actualization, self transcendence, realizing the joy of existence

Aroma: An amazing, secret, intoxicating aroma before it is burned - best used in small amounts as a boost to other herbs and resins when burned
Saffron has been a very important aromatic since Ancient times. The Greeks would stuff pillows with Saffron and adorn sitting places with Crocus petals. Saffrom was also highly prized as a yellow die for fabric, and in cooking.
This Saffron is very fragrant, and of the highest quality. It comes from Spain. |
