Associations: Mercury, Air
Aroma: A very complex, rich, deep, balsam like, slightly sweet and voluptuous aroma.
Storax is called for in many midieval and Ancient recipes. It is usually associated with Mercury, although some say it has a more Earthy aroma.
This Storax is from the American Sweet Gum tree. We also carry Turkish Storax Bark and Turkish Storax Resin, also called Liquid Amber. |
