From a cactus-like plant in Morocco, this resin is aromatic only when heated. Euphorbium Gum is called for in many ancient recipes. In it's natural state, care must be taken to cover the eyes and face when working with this resin, as it will irritate the skin and mucous membranes.
Euphorbium is called for in many incense and oil recipes, but always use caution with this caustic substance. Do not ingest. |
