Storax is called for in many Medieval and Ancient recipes. It is usually associated with Mercury, although some say it has a more Earthy aroma. This storax resin is sometimes called liquid storax, because it comes in a pourable semi-liquid state, and is sold by the fluid ounce. This is raw and unrefined Turkish storax. |
