These Om Tibetan Cymbals feature the Om mantra, or the vibrational sound at the creation of the universe, and produce a wonderful sound: deep, melodic and resonant. Each side of the Tingsha has a slightly different tone, so you may strike these temple bells together for a layered sound, or hold one and strike it with the other for a single note. The sound will echo and rise to the ends of the Universe. 2.25 inches in diameter.

These Tingshas are hand cast by Tibetan artisans using methods passed down from generation to generation. As prayer chimes, they have been used for centuries by Tibetan Buddhists to prepare for meditation. When the two pieces strike each other they produce deep and lasting sound which can be used to focus the mind before and after meditation. Tingshas can be used for space clearing to remove negative energies.
