Black Damar is a very common resin from India. This incense has been associated with Earth.  It has a scent which is very similar to Indonesian Dark Copal, but with less sweetness and more earthiness. Like most copals and damars, it produces a lot of smoke when burned.  Dark Damar makes for an excellent incense.
