Labdanum is a rare resin which comes from the Rock Rose bush. It has been in use as an aromatic since ancient times because of its wonderful and luxurious complex aroma. Labdanum is used in perfumery and makes for a wonderful rare incense. Labdanum resin will always remain soft and sticky, so we sell it in small jars.

Hard to describe the scent, both floral and woody. It smells like the name "Rock Rose" would smell like.
Mine came as a thick liquid, I use a paperclip to dip in the resin, then place it on the coal.
As with other resin oils, a little goes a long way and produces lots of smoke. I hate to say "Unique" and "Original" again, but this is in a class of its own. Calling this a must-have.

Excellent labdanum

Wonderful complex sweet-balsamic scent, perfect for incense. Be warned that labdanum resin is VERY thick and sticky; I had to warm the jar in hot water before I could get the stuff out, and the spatula I used was a lost cause! I hope it returns to stock soon, I would love to use it again.

Beautiful, Rich and Complex

The labdanum offered here is brilliant. I have used it in perfumery and incense and it embodies all that is great about Labdanum. Fruity, sweet, raspberry and chocolate notes all present. An extra special find as labdanum has been quite difficult to source. Somaluna quick processing got it in the mail and in front of my nose quick and easy. Well worth the investment to experience this wonderful example of labdanum.
