At Soma Luna we take great pride in the candles we make. These premium unscented pillar candles are a solid color all the way through. Our black candles have NO purple tint - they are true black. Our whites are snow-white. These candles have a high gloss finish that you will not find anywhere else. Our pillar candles are hand poured with full attention paid to sharpness and detail. Our 6.5 inch pillars will burn for more than a 3 days if left burning continuously. These pillar candles measure 6.5 inches tall, 3 inches in diameter and weigh 1.5 pounds. We use only pure cotton wicks and high-grade paraffin wax. Made in Indiana, USA!

Black Candles Still Awesome

We last reviewed the black candles on September 3rd, 2013. We have continued to purchase these candles on a regular basis, and are always pleased with the product. The candles are made by Soma Luna, so it's nice buying from a family owned business. These are long lasting candles, they burn nicely, and the black candles are black all the way through the candle. Just make sure you allow about 3-4 hours on the first burn for the 6.5 X 3 size. This lets the wax melt near the edge, and creates a memory for the wax melt. We are very satisfied customers.

Impossible to find, true black, not dark purple, very satisfied. Will order more.

We have been buying black candles from Soma Luna for years. The pillar candles are black all the way through. Many black candles are only black on the outside. They burn well, and there is no smoking from the candles as long as you keep the wick trimmed. They burn long, and are excellently priced. We whole-heartedly recommend the Soma Luna candles!
