Beautiful looking but fyi

I really loved how the brass pattern was cut and how long the handle is so I can really smudge a room easily.

I was very excited to use it and had some problems with it but will still use it regardless and with a ceramic plate to rest the metal base on as it got very hot from the charcoal. I did not expect to need something heat resistent to rest it on so I was not prepared. My client was kind enough to let me borrow one from her so I would not melt or burn anything in her house! The charcoal would sometimes get smothered and go out. It may have been just a issue for the smaller size burner as less oxygen to burn in that designed space or maybe it was defective charcoal? It seemed to help if I tilted it sideways and left the lid off at first. Once it started burning and I had a thick bottom ceramic plate, it was fine. Maybe the big one would be different. I still will use it.
