Damar is a very common resin from Indonesia. It is used as an incense and in varnish making. It has a scent which is very similar to Dark Copal from India and Sumatra or China Amber. Cahaya is Indonesian for Light, which comes from the Sanskrit chāyā́, shadow, shade.
